2025 MRA Calendar Released: Get Ready for an Unforgettable Season!

Motor Racing Australia is thrilled to unveil the 2025 racing calendar! Full of action packed, fan-favorite categories, and exciting new additions, this season will promise to be one for the books. With events hosted at the iconic One Raceway and Sydney Motorsport Park, MRA is set to deliver an unmatched racing experience.

Two marquee events will take center stage in 2025:

• Viola Private Wealth Sydney 300 – May 17th at Sydney Motorsport Park, showcasing endurance racing at its finest.
• The eagerly anticipated return of what was once the Wakefield 300, now reimagined and taking place at One Raceway on August 16–17.

Here’s what you can look forward to in 2025:

Exciting Endurance Challenges

• SuperTT is bringing two adrenaline-filled 1-hour enduros: one at Sydney Motorsport Park in February and another at One Raceway in April. Four sprint rounds will keep the action intense throughout the year.

• Series X3 NSW (Excels) continues to shine as a staple category, featured in all eight events. Highlights include the Jeremy Hodges Memorial Cup, a 2 x 1-hour endurance race in May, and another thrilling 1 x 1-hour enduro at One Raceway in November, both contributing to the Endurance Championship.

Fan-Favorite Series

• Australian Pulsar Racing Assn will contest a thrilling 5-round championship starting at the legendary Mount Panorama, where they will support the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour. Managed by MRA, their season will also feature a 1-hour enduro in August, ensuring an action-packed calendar for drivers and fans alike.

• BMW E36 Race Series will be combined with Alfa Romeo Racing at some events, creating thrilling mixed-category battles.

• Alfa Romeo Racing, featuring the popular Twin Spark Cup, will join multiple rounds of the season. The April event will host the Alfa East Coast Challenge, adding an extra layer of excitement for competitors and fans alike.

• Stock Cars Australia will make a return to selected MRA events, joining SuperTT at the July Sydney Motorsport Park round as a non-championship round. They’ll also compete at Round 6 in August at One Raceway, bringing their championship energy to the event alongside the Wakefield 300 action.

• MX5 Cup will feature six rounds of tight, wheel-to-wheel action that fans love.

• MG Racing Australia with five rounds of competitive historic racing, showcasing the best of the marque.

• Clubman Championship returns for five rounds, bringing grassroots racing to the forefront of MRA’s schedule.

New and Returning Categories

• The Hyper X1 category will join MRA for the first time in 2025, showcasing cutting-edge racing technology and breathtaking speed at One Raceway. While not their debut event or first appearance at the circuit, their inclusion in the MRA program marks an exciting new chapter for this high-performance category.

• Legends Cars Australia will electrify the track during the April round at One Raceway, and play a key role in the Sydney 300 and Wakefield 300 events.
