SuperTT Bathurst Terms and Conditions (Competitors)

1. Definitions

  1. MRA” means Motor Racing Australia Pty Ltd, ACN 134 304 822.
  2. Promoter” means ARG Events Pty Ltd, ACN 633 759 154, of 2, 13 Kitchen Road, Dandenong South, VIC 3175.
  3. Category” means SuperTT as managed by MRA.
  4. Event” means the Bathurst 6 Hour at Mount Panorama, Bathurst NSW, scheduled Friday 03 April 2026 to Sunday 05 April 2026, with Category track activity planned for Friday and Saturday.
  5. Competitor” means a person or body that holds a Motorsport Australia Competitor licence acceptable to Motorsport Australia and that has submitted an Expression of Interest and Entry Form for the Category.
  6. Driver” means a person holding a Motorsport Australia licence acceptable to Motorsport Australia and entered to drive an automobile in the Competition.
  7. EOI” means an Expression of Interest submitted by a Competitor to seek entry to the Category at the Event.
  8. Deposit” means the EOI deposit of $1,000.
  9. Entry Fee” means $3,450 including GST.
  10. Rebate” means any post-Event payment described in section 7.
  11. Paddock Area” means the area within the Event paddock allocated to the Category by the Promoter.
  12. Hocker” means a supplied marquee within the Paddock Area.
  13. Officials” means the Clerk of the Course, the Secretary of the Event, and other Motorsport Australia officials appointed for the Event.
  14. Regulations” means the Motorsport Australia National Competition Rules, the Event Supplementary Regulations, any Further Regulations, and any official instructions issued by Officials.
  15. Category Manager” or “CM” means the person appointed by MRA to manage the Category, for the Event the CM is Terry Denovan.

2. Parties and agreement

  1. These terms form a binding agreement between the Competitor and MRA for participation in the Category at the Event.
  2. Order of precedence, the Regulations, then these terms, then any Category bulletins issued by MRA.

3. Governance and instructions

  1. The Event is sanctioned under Motorsport Australia and the Regulations apply.
  2. Officials have authority over track and Event operations, instructions must be followed.
  3. The Competitor must comply with all lawful directions and instructions of the CM, whether verbal or written, and must ensure its Drivers and crew do the same.

4. Expressions of Interest and entry process

  1. EOI open, Wednesday 12 November 2025, 10:00 AEDT.
  2. EOI close, Wednesday 15 December 2025, 17:00 AEDT.
  3. EOIs are reviewed and may be accepted at any time by the CM.
  4. EOI’s may close earlier, if the grid is full. 
  5. Competitors may be put onto a reserve list. 
  6. If an EOI is accepted, the information provided in the EOI becomes the Competitor’s official Entry Form. Entries are not transferable.
  7. Priority will be given to those that have competed in SuperTT, followed by Sydney 300, Wakefield 300 and then other categories that support MRA. 
  8. A confirmed entry requires cleared funds by the due dates, completion of all forms, presentation of the required Motorsport Australia licence, and vehicle compliance with Category technical regulations.

5. Entry Fee and inclusions

  1. Entry Fee, $3,450 including GST.
  2. Each accepted entry includes, one Hocker in the Paddock Area, four accreditations, Driver plus three crew, one outer paddock vehicle pass.
  3. Hockers and paddock structures are supplied and erected by the Event’s official supplier, custom structures are not permitted.
  4. Competitors must advise the CM no later than 28 days before the Event if bringing a large transporter requiring extended parking. The notice must include make, model, and overall length.

6. EOI Deposit, payment window, and surcharges

  1. An EOI requires payment of the Deposit. No payment means no EOI.
  2. The Deposit must be received within 7 days of EOI submission, otherwise the EOI will become void and the spot will move to the waitlist.
  3. Card surcharge, 1.7 percent applies to card payments. Card surcharges and processor merchant fees are not refundable.
  4. If an EOI is not accepted, the Deposit is refunded in full less 1.7 percent and any card surcharge.

7. Rebates

  1. Grid rebate, payable when the Category exceeds 40 paid entries at the Event. The per-entry rebate amount increases with each additional paid entry above 40 and will be determined by the CM having regard to the final paid grid size and Event costs.
  2. Early payment bonus, an additional $250 applies if the full Entry Fee is paid in cleared funds by 15 December 2025, 23:59 AEDT.
  3. Processing, rebates are paid within 21 days after the Event to the Competitor’s supplied bank account or to the Competitor’s credit card, as applicable.
  4. If a Competitor is excluded for conduct or eligibility, rebates are forfeited.

8. Schedule and attendance

    1. Competitors must be on site Thursday 02 April 2026 for bump-in, paddock setup, Category sign-on, and Drivers briefing. Attendance is mandatory.
    2. Planned on-track sessions for the Category, the schedule may change,

8.2.1 Two (2) x Twenty (20) minute practice sessions.
8.2.2 One (1) x Twenty (20) minute qualifying session.
8.2.3 Three (3) x Twenty-five (25) minute races.

  1. Competitors, Drivers, and Crew are not permitted to access the Paddock Area until cleared by the CM on Wednesday 01 April 2026. Competitors should assume access is available from Thursday 02 April 2026 unless otherwise advised.
  2. Paddock occupation is not before Wednesday 01 April 2026. The Paddock Area must be vacated by 20:00 on Sunday 05 April 2026 unless otherwise directed.

9. Eligibility and compliance

  1. Vehicles must comply with the 2026 Category Technical Regulations. Scrutineering and eligibility checks may occur at any time.
  2. Licence, each Driver must hold a Motorsport Australia Circuit licence or higher. Provisional licences are not accepted for Bathurst. Drivers with provisional licences must consult the CM regarding licence upgrade requirements.
  3. Fuel, where applicable the Event’s official fuel supplier terms apply. Refuelling and fuel storage must comply with the Regulations and safety rules.
  4. The fastest allowable lap time for the category will be 2:15.00 

10. Paddock rules

  1. The Paddock Area allocation is fixed by the Promoter. Teams must fit within allocation and keep access ways clear.
  2. No camping in the Paddock Area.
  3. No sales or promotion of merchandise, products, or services in the Paddock Area without written approval from the Promoter.
  4. Security, the Promoter provides general venue security. Each team is responsible for its own vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  5. Damage and cleaning, teams are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and for reasonable cleaning charges.
  6. Non road registered competition vehicles are prohibited in the campground and other public areas.
  7. Hazardous substances, storage and use must follow WHS rules. A spill kit must be available at each bay.

11. Conduct

  1. Professional conduct is required at all times. Failure to follow instructions or unsafe behaviour may lead to penalties, exclusion, or removal from the venue.
  2. The Promoter may remove any person from the Circuit if, in the Promoter’s opinion, their conduct is unsatisfactory.

12. Payments, deadlines, and refunds

  1. Final Entry Fee due, Thursday 15 January 2026, 23:59 AEDT. Funds must clear by the deadline.
  2. Overdue accounts, no interest is charged. An administration fee of $165 including GST is applied once overdue.
  3. After EOI acceptance, if a Competitor withdraws, the $1,000 Deposit is forfeited.
  4. Refund tiers,
    1. Before 15 January 2026, refund 100 percent of Entry Fee paid less the $1,000 Deposit and any merchant fees,
    2. 15 January 2026 to 27 February 2026, refund 50 percent of Entry Fee paid less the $1,000 Deposit and any merchant fees,
    3. After 27 February 2026, no refund.
  5. Replacement, entries are not transferable. MRA manages any replacement from the waitlist. If MRA replaces the withdrawn entry, a refund may be issued less the $1,000 Deposit and any merchant fees. Replacement is at MRA’s discretion.
  6. Refund processing window, refunds are processed within 21 days, to the original card for card payments, or by bank transfer for EFT payments.
  7. Chargebacks, if a chargeback or payment reversal is initiated on an accepted entry, the entry is immediately suspended. If not fully reversed within 48 hours, it is treated as a withdrawal after 27 February 2026 for refund purposes, no refund applies, and the Competitor remains liable for all bank and processor fees, the $165 administration fee, and reasonable recovery costs. MRA may bar future entries by the Competitor until all sums are paid.
  8. Payment methods, card or bank transfer. Funds must clear by the stated deadlines. Screenshots or remittance advice are not payment until cleared.

13. Privacy and data

  1. Personal information is collected for administration, safety, and compliance. Information may be shared with Motorsport Australia, the Promoter, and Officials for operations and safety.
  2. Results, timing, and media may publish names, numbers, and images. Refer to the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

14. Variations

  1. MRA may update these terms for accuracy, changes in law, safety, or operational reasons.
  2. Material changes will be posted on the Category site and, where practicable, notified by email to accepted entrants.
  3. Changes will not remove core inclusions already paid for, except where required by the Promoter, Officials, venue, or law.

15. General

  1. Governing law, New South Wales. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
  2. Australian Consumer Law, nothing in these terms limits any rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, Schedule 2.
  3. Severability, if any provision is invalid or unenforceable it is severed and the remainder continues in force.
  4. Entire agreement, these terms constitute the entire agreement between the Competitor and MRA for the matters covered and supersede prior communications on those matters.
  5. Waiver, a failure to exercise or a delay in exercising a right is not a waiver. A waiver must be in writing.
  6. Assignment, the Competitor must not assign its rights or obligations without MRA’s written consent. MRA may assign to a related body corporate.

16. Acceptance

  1. By submitting an EOI, allowing it to be accepted by the CM, or paying the Entry Fee, the Competitor agrees to these terms, the Regulations, and any official instructions.
