New Naming Rights Sponsor for the SYDNEY 300

Long-time supporter of Motor Racing Australia (MRA), Pitcher Partners, has been announced as the naming rights sponsor of the 2021 Sydney 300 – Round 2 of the AASA sanctioned Australian 1000 championship.

APRA Series competitor, and 300 regular, Charlie Viola is a partner of Pitcher Partners – one of Australia’s largest mid-tier chartered accounting firms, with representatives located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Newcastle.

Established in 1991, the company has been servicing Australians for thirty years, providing services across no less than six different business divisions – Audit and Assurance, Corporate Tax, Corporate Finance, Insolvency, Private Tax and Wealth Management.

Viola – a well celebrated financial advisor – looks after the Wealth Management sector of the business in their Sydney office.

The Sydney 300 is an extension of Pitcher Partners association with grassroots motorsport in New South Wales – the company has been the naming rights sponsor of the NSW Australian Pulsar Racing Association (APRA) Series since 2017, and is an ongoing supporter of Motor Racing Australia.

As for Charlie, he’ll team up with Ben Hanrahan, in a Honda Integra – just as he did in 2019 – for next Saturday’s 77-lap race.

The pair have enjoyed great success in the recent past, winning Division D in the 2019 Sydney 300, and Division C in the last two Wakefield 300’s – in fact, they finished 5th outright in the 2020 edition of the Goulburn event.

Next Saturday’s Pitcher Partners Sydney 300 will be LIVE on your home of grassroots Motorsport, Blend Line TV, with all races on the event program coming your way – which includes no less than FIVE support categories.
Coverage will also include extensive coverage of the Sydney 300, beginning with the second 20-minute practice session, before knock-out qualifying, and a 9-lap sprint race, take us towards the showpiece race of the Motor Racing Australia season – the Pitcher Partners Sydney 300.
