END THE RACING YEAR AT OUR SPONSOR RIDE & FAMILY FUN NIGHT!
The unique event is only open to 2023 MRA competitors and caters for the whole team. Bring along the your family, sponsors and crew to enjoy a fun night at Sydney Motorsport Park on Saturday, 9th December.
Our fun night will include something for everyone. Each entrant will have 3.5+ hours of open pit lane for passenger rides. For the younger ones, they can come and enjoy the jumping castles and face painting, pickup some free fairy floss and popcorn. If that isn’t enough, we’ve arranged for the donut and ice cream truck to be there. If you’re after a quieter place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, the ARDC cafe will be open all night. 16:30 – 17:30 Entrant Sign on / Doc Check at the accreditation box at the main. 17:30 – Gates open to Entrants 17:30 – Driver Sign on / Doc Check in the ARDC Champions Room 17:50 – Compulsory Drivers Briefing in the ARDC Champions Room (Please ask your passengers to stay outside) 18:00 – Passengers can start their check in 18:30 – Pit Lane opens for a 15-20 minute practice session (all entrants are encouraged to test their vehicles before putting any passengers in) 18:45 – All cars are to be off the circuit 18:50 – Pit Lane opens for ride session. 22:30 – All vehicles off the circuit
NOTES: – Upon acceptance of your entry to the event, you will receive a link for your passengers to complete. Once the form is completed, the passenger will receive an email and/or SMS with a link to complete their disclaimer online. – All drivers and passengers must have the correct accreditation wristband on before entering the circuit – All drivers and passengers will be checked at pit exit – Drivers must not – – exceed 80% of vehicles capabilities – – Drift/slide – – Go off track – – Make contact (with another car, wall, person, etc) (A driver that does exceed capabilities, drift/slide or go off track will be excluded from the event and will not be able to participate any further that evening) – During the passenger sessions, all vehicles must have passengers. This is not a test night. No passenger, no entry to the circuit – The event will be capped to 70 entrants, with a maximum of 30 vehicles on track at any time – All vehicles must have a AASA Vehicle Passport or MA Logbook – All vehicles must be production based vehicles (excludes Formula / Clubman type vehicles) – All drivers must hold a AASA National Race Licence or an approved equivalent. – All passengers will need to be over the age of 16, be fully covered in wrist to neck to ankle no flammable clothing, have an approved helmet. – Vehicles will be required to have a seat and harness complying to AASA Appendix 5. (aka Race Seat + Harness). – Passenger ride sessions will be out lap, full lap, in lap. (Towards the end of the night, should there be no line up of competitors getting on the track, additional laps will be allowed. Only after advise via the Race Receiver.) – All competitors will be required to have Race Receivers fully operational at all times during the event. – All vehicles must have full size competition numbers on vehicles (so officials can identify cars) – There will be no driver substitutes – Working on vehicles in pit lane is strictly prohibited. (checking of tyre pressures is OK) Any mechanical work must be completed in a pit lane garage. – No vehicles or trailers are to be stored between the Marshalling Area and Block A. – Parking for passengers, family, crew etc will be on the Figure 8 Circuit or P3 (the hill oppose South Circuit). – We’ll have plenty of staff on to help with the movement of traffic on the night. – Our Family Fun zone will be located at the rear of Pit Lane Garages 1 – 6.
